Annual dinner leads to some sore heads

King's College Hospital kicked off its 150th anniversary celebrations with an annual dinner to end all annual dinners.

With current and former players from all around the world heading back to the club's spiritual home at the Griffin, the night was set for festivities a plenty.

Club Chairman Dave Wallis welcomed all comers before handing over to JY who gave a typically elaborate Gallic grace. Addresses from Seal and Von gave a summary of a mixed season with colours and awards then being handed out (see below for full list) before our President Nigel Heaton addressed the increasingly rowdy crowd to reflect on 150 years of the best rugby club in the world.

Special thanks must go to club hero Stewart Hartley (plus his merry band of helpers) for giving us a night to remember. If only we could actually remember it all.

Here's to the coming season - it's bound to be the best King's has ever had.
