“Their support makes all the difference to grassroots sport and allows us all to help play and grow the game we love.”
Going into its 150th season, King’s College Hospital is proud to unveil its sponsors for the 2019/20 season – with some companies joining some long-time supporters of the club.
The Half Moon Pub in Herne Hill has agreed to become King’s headline sponsor, sponsoring the first team shirts. It is widely felt across the club that this marks the start of what will be a beautiful relationship with this legendary south London boozer.
Providing the same service for the mighty second team, long-time club supporter and former player Gavin MacFarlane, senior partner at Clearwater Wealth Management has agreed to continue his sponsorship for another year.
Also renewing their support for the club is everyone’s favourite East Dulwich curry house, Mirash, who will sponsor the club’s general leisure wear.
The club is also very excited to welcome two new sponsors to the team whose logos will appear on shirt sleeves on match day shirts: property developer Bellis Homes and iconic motorcycle brand the James Cycle Company Ltd.
Club chairman Dave Wallis said:
“We’re immensely grateful to all those businesses who have agreed to sponsor the club in this important season. Their support makes all the difference to grassroots sport and allows us all to help play and grow the game we love.
“It’s a pleasure to see new businesses agreeing to come forward to sponsor us, and the club says a big thank you to both James and Bellis Homes.
“We expect to be spending a lot of time at the Half Moon this season, with a number of socials already lined up so we hope that this proves to be a mutually beneficial relationship!
“And finally, we are honoured to have both Gav and Mirash renewing their support for another season. They’ve both been amazingly generous for another year and we hope to repay their support on the pitch this season.”
